It can be used as a hand-held pocket monocular, a helmet mounted monocular, or a weapon sight when mounted in tandem with an infrared laser sight or other night vision compatible primary optic. An additional features include a low battery indicator located in the eyepiece and an active projected infrared LED that provides short range illumination for activities such as map reading.
